Objective: To analyze the physiotherapist's perception regarding the use of digital technologies to evaluate cardiac patients in rehabilitation programs.

Methods: This is a cross-sectional study with a quantitative-qualitative data analysis approach developed with physiotherapists from a Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR) sector in a hospital in Fortaleza-CE. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews.

Results: 10 physiotherapists were interviewed, the majority of whom were young, female and had postgraduate degrees in the field. From the content analysis, two categories emerged: Use of technological resources during the physiotherapeutic assessment; Development of technologies for evaluating cardiac patients in the rehabilitation sector.

Final Considerations: Study participants did not use digital technologies when carrying out admission or prognostic assessments in the RC sector. However, they recognize that the use of digital technologies during their care and assessments is a resource that provides advantages for both the care team and management.
